Baluakandi village has one School Cum College,One Government Primary School,One Kindergarten School.One Hafizia Madrasha. Those are ;

On the desire of villagers of Baluakandi,Choto Raipura,Tetuitala & Tengarchar and on the direction of Dr.Abdul Gaffar Khan MB (Cal),his son Advocate AFM Abdur Rahman (as he was then) founded the School in the year 1994.Primarily the School Building was built at acost of Taka 10 lac supplied by the founder and the School Building was constructed by Mr.Mujubur Rahman,1st class contractor of Tetuitala village..The School got its recognition and MPO duly and made its way to become the topmost result  achiving School in SSC examination.The ministry of education, Govt of Bangladesh elevated th High Schoo to School & College in the year 2012.Currently about 1000 students are getting standard education in this institution.

When there was no primary Scool around 10 miles of Baluakandi village,Dr. Abdul Gaffar Khan MB (Cal) founded Baluakandi Primary School in the year 1934 on owned land beside the 'Baluakandi Munshibari' Dhighi where as many as 50/60 students were getting primary education.In the year 1963 Dr.Abdul Gaffar Khan MB (Cal) upon urging Government to make the School as Govt.Primary School, paid the acquisition money for the land of the present premises on the direction of the Government, where a pucca building was constructed by the govt. and made the School as 'Baluakandi Government Primary School'.Currently as many as 600 students are getting primary education in this school.Current Chairman of the managing committee is Justice AFM Abdur Rahman,Barrister-at-law and the Scool is one of the top standard primary school in Gazaria Upazila.

3.Baluakandi Shisu Biddya Niketan. Kindergarten.

Mr. Fazlul Hoque Nayan founded this Kindergarten School, sole of its kind in Baluakandi Village, in the year 2006.Currently 180 students are getting standard education in Bangla medium  in this Kindergarten in different classes, namely Play group, Nursery, KG-1 to KG-V. Although it is a private institution yet the students monthly tuition fee ranges from tk.150.00- tk.170.00 PM.

Baluakandi Rabeya Khatoon Memorial Hafizia Madrasha was established in 1961AD by Dr.Abdul Gaffar Khan MB(Cal) in memory of his deceased first wife Mosammat Rabeya Khatoon, out of whom his 1st son Colonel AFM Abdur Rab born.Practically the Madrasha was housed in the Baluakandi Primary School tin-shed structure,which was also established by Dr.Abdul Gaffar Khan MB (Cal) in the year 1934 AD,which he shifted to its present location for the purpose of making the primary School as Govt.Primary School.In the remaining vacant tin-shed structure he established the Madrasha as a Maqtub to teach the local kids morning lesson of Al-Quran.This tin-shed Madrasha continued up to 2000 AD when Colonel (Retd.) AFM Abdur Rab constructed Pucca two storied building to turn the institution into a Hafizia Madrasha.After the demise of Dr.Abdul Gaffar Kha MB (cal) on 6th July 1989 at 4 PM, the Madrasha is being taken over by 'Dr.Abdul Gaffar Khan Foundation'. Currently 5 students are engaged in Hafizia learning  under one Hafez teacher,who are given free tuition,Food,lodging and Clothes..
