Identity of Baluakandi Village
One can find Baluakandi Village in between 29th to 31st kilometer, at the Dhaka end, of Dhaka-Chittagong High Way which passes through the Gazaria Upazila after the Meghna Bridge. At its southern boundary, a branch of Meghna river named 'Fuldi River' situates and the said river can be seen from the highway, where it took a round shape.Here the Dhaka-Chittagong High way touches almost the water of the river 'Fuldi' and north to it the Baluakandi village exists.On its
western boundary includes main Meghna River, after it, the locality 'Jhauchar' of Sonargaon Upazila situates.On its north boundray another recently abolished branch of Meghna River named 'Uttar River' situates.
On the east, the 'Fuldi' river rounded down to touch main Meghna River.

Mouza Boro Baliakandi
Mouza Boro Baliakandi is the biggest mouza of the village.It has RS plot no 1 to 1198.The southern 'Fuldi' river is included in the mouza and given RS plot no.1168,which was plot no 773 in the previous CS map. The 'Uttar River' has also been numbered in RS map as plot no.1 and 1198. The plots varies in size and the maximum plots, southern to Highway are agricultural land,now being filled up with earth for establishment of different Industrial units.The large industrial undertaking Sino-Bangla Industries Ltd. Dutch-Bangla Industries Ltd. and RF Paper Mills Ltd. situate at the eastern part of this mouza.
Mouza Ekrampur
This is a small mouza,having RS plot nos.1 to 106.This mouza has the largest inhabitants, who are residing
therein since long.A part of the tourism center 'Meghna Village Holiday Resort' situates in this mouza.
Mouza NakimerKandi
This is another small mouza of Baluakandi Village,
through which Dhaka-Chittagong Highway passed through.The Baluakandi Bus Stand situates in this mouza at a side of the road, making the place as 'Baluakandi High Street'. A host of retail commercial enterprises have been established around the High Street including the other part of the tourism center'Meghna Village Holiday Resort'.
Beside,all the 9 Highway Restaurants ,including 'Meghna Village High Way Cafe,Meghna Village Sweets factory,Meghna Village Dhakai Jamdani Weaving Factory, situate here.
Mouza Atiknagar
This mouza,being a medium in size,situates at the North-Eastern corner of the Baluakandi village.
